Beatrice L. Wolford Burton of Avon died Saturday at Westside Healthcare in Indianapolis. She was 98.

Born Sept. 29, 1914, in Cushman, Ark., she was a daughter of Thomas and Stella Frazier Wolford.

She worked 33 years on the production line for Link Belt before retiring in 1977.

Mrs. Burton was a charter member of Kingsway Christian Church in Avon.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Calling is 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield with the Rev. Jeff Lewellyn officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery in Cartersburg.

Calling is for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
