— Reba Acton Hart of Plainfield died Tuesday. She was 96.
Mrs. Hart was raised in a home on Bridgeport Road. After marrying her husband Kenneth, she lived on a small farm north of Plainfield for 70 years.
In 1979 she retired from the Indiana Boys' School after working there for 25 years as a secretary.
Mrs. Hart was a member of Plainfield Friends Meeting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, who died in 2001.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Patricia, and a niece, Janet Pritchett of Puyallup, Wash.
Services are noon Thursday at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.
Calling at the funeral home is for two hours prior to the service.
