Jaunita Mae Cornwell of Plainfield died Aug. 28. She was 92.
Born Aug. 18, 1918, in Windsor, Ill., she was a daughter of Albert V. and Myrtie Batson Horn. She was the eldest of three siblings that included her sister, Pauline Horn Smith, and brother, Richard Horn.
Mrs. Cornwell attended elementary school in Windsor and graduated from Cerro Gordo High School.
She married Harold Cornwell of Cerro Gordo, Ill., in 1941. He died in 1988.
She was a member and past president of the Rebekah Lodge in Cerro Gordo. She pursued many interests and supported and raised three children: Lyndall Paddock of Avon and Keith and Richard Cornwell of Plainfield.
Additional survivors include five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law.
Graveside services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Windsor Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Eident officiating.
Calling is for an hour prior to the service at the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor.
