Ella W. Rarridon of Plainfield died Thursday. She was 97.
Born Oct. 19, 1915, in Putnam County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Mable (McAninch) Buis.
She retired in 1981 after 28 years at Public Service of Indiana.
Her memberships included Plainfield Christian Church, Plainfield Womans Club, and Alpha Chapter of Delta Alpha Gamma Sorority.
Survivors include sisters Blanche Stubblefield and Emma Katherine Gorham and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Leslie Rarridon; siblings Leon, Charles, and Lloyd Buis, and Ruth Woods and Vera Jean Davis.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Interment will be at Stilesville Cemetery.
Calling at the funeral home is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday.
