Rosa I. Haltom of Danville died Wednesday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was 82.
Born April 12, 1930, in Farmer City, Ill., she was a daughter of David Nelson and Claire Bell Harvel Thurnall. She married Paul K. Haltom on Nov. 2, 1946, and he died in 1986.
Mrs. Haltom worked for Kroger, Diamond Chain for more than 20 years, and also at United Commercial Cleaning.
She was a member of the Brownsburg American Legion, Moose Lodge, and Plainfield Eagles.
Survivors include daughters Paula Sigler of California and Diana Haltom of Danville; a sister, Anna Hall of Danville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was a daughter, Becky Rambole.
No services are planned. Calling is from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Baker Funeral Home in Danville.
