Gregory S. Solomon of Pittsboro died June 21. He was 65.
Born May 17, 1947, in Greencastle, he was a son of Albert and Mary June (Rising) Solomon. He married Phyllis Jean Kendall in Indianapolis on Jan. 28, 1973.
Mr. Solomon graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1965. He worked as a skilled tradesman for GM.
Survivors include his father, Albert Solomon; his wife, Jean Solomon; a son, Scott Solomon; a daughter, Brandi Scueler; a sister, Marsha Carrington; and six grandchildren.
Services were Monday at David A. Hall Mortuary, 220 N. Maple St., Pittsboro. Interment was at New Providence Cemetery in rural Greencastle.
