Verona L. Broman

Verona L. Broman of Plainfield died Sunday at Sugar Grove Senior Living. She was 85.

Born in Minnesota, she was a daughter of Frank and Alvina Peterson Carlson. She married Carl B. Broman in 1949, and he survives.

Mrs. Broman was a long-time member of Plainfield United Methodist Church.

Additional survivors include her children, Carl R. Broman, Robert A. Broman, Karen Y. Taber, Susan R. Goodwin, Marlys D. Vaccari, and Craig B. Broman; a brother, Carl E. Carlson; a sister, Genevieve Y. Larson; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services are 4 p.m. Saturday at Plainfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ted Blosser officiating.

Calling is for two hours prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to Plainfield United Methodist Church, 600 Simmons St., Plainfield, IN 46168 or to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th St. Ste. 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.

Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield is handling arrangements.
