Janis Lea Collins of Indianapolis died Thursday. She was 80 and had formerly resided in Denver, Colo.

Born May 5, 1932, in Shenandoah, Iowa, she was a daughter of the late Thorne and Muriel Grafton.

Mrs. Collins was a homemaker for 25 years. She had also worked as an office manager for both Finesse Hair Salon and Allied Automotive.

She was a Christian and enjoyed fishing and spending time in the mountains.

She had spent the last years of her life at Crestwood Village where she made many friends.

Survivors include sons Richard, Robert, and Ronald Collins; a daughter, Karen Collins; a sister, Camille Jones; and a brother, Robert Grafton.

Services are 3 p.m. Monday at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg. Interment will be at Arvada Cemetery in Arvada, Colo.

Calling is for two hours prior to the service at the mortuary.
