Pamela J. Babbitt of Plainfield died Friday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was 70.

Born Feb. 7, 1942, in Indianapolis, she was a daughter of Leroy B. and Doris Hoerger Wood. She married Robert R. Babbitt on July 11, 1970, and he survives.

Mrs. Babbitt was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Bob; a daughter, Tracie Trent and husband John; and a grandson, Sam Trent.

Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield with the Rev. Ted Blosser officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
