Margaret “Peggy” Griffith of Lizton died Monday at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville. She was 68.
Born Jan. 15, 1942, in Hamilton, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Louise (Reis) Ashton. She married Quincy Griffith in Butler County on Nov. 19, 1960, and he survives.
Additional survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Tina Griffith of Lizton; a daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Mike Swart of Madison, Wis.; grandchildren Jasper Griffith, Jon Myott, Lydia Griffith, and Elijah Griffith; and brothers William Ashton of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Robert Ashton of Florida.
Preceding her in death were brothers Jacque Ashton and Burton Ashton, and a sister, Patricia Eichen.
Services are 2 p.m. March 12 at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio. Interment will follow at Venice Cemetery.
Calling at the funeral home is for an hour prior to the service.
