Vincent “Porky” Tex of Brownsburg

Vincent “Porky” Tex of Brownsburg died Sunday. He was 65.

Mr. Tex served in the U.S. Army and was a life-long member of the Brownsburg American Legion.

Survivors include  daughters Carrie and Missy (Brian); grandchildren Sophie, Jaxton, Lakelyn, Jakob, and Hunter; brothers Richard, Mike, Ronnie, Raymond, Tom, and Kenny; a sister, Mary; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Linda; parents Marion and Bernice; brothers David and Larry; and best friend, Hollywood.

Mr. Tex enjoyed sports and was a Cubs fan.

Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Malachy Catholic Church. Interment will be at Brownsburg Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg.
