Ronald Warren Norcutt

Ronald Warren Norcutt of Avon died Tuesday. He was 66.

Born Feb. 21, 1947, in Indianapolis, he was a son of the late Ralph and Alma (Fitch) Norcutt.

Mr. Norcutt graduated from Avon High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a field service representative for Cummins Mid-States Power from 1968 until his retirement in 2004.

He was a member of Brownsburg Masonic Lodge 241, AGLCA, and U.S. Power Squadron. He taught boating safety courses through the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and also enjoyed spending time on his own boat, “The Driftwood.”

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Teana (Newman) Norcutt; a daughter, Laura (Norcutt) Drummond; and son-in-law, Dan Drummond.

Services are noon Saturday at Flanner and Buchanan – Speedway. Interment with military honors will be at Floral Park Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
