Eula “Fern” Kelley of Brownsburg

Eula “Fern” Kelley of Brownsburg died Sunday at the Brownsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 100.

Born Sept. 4, 1911, in Boone County, she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Melida (Gibbs) Smith. She married William Kennedy Kelley in Indianapolis in 1927, and he died in February of ‘91.

Mrs. Kelley was a homemaker.

Survivors include sons Larry and David Kelley, nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were a son, William Kelley, and a daughter, Mary Sampsell.

Graveside services are 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the K of P Cemetery in Lizton.

Calling is from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at David A. Hall Mortuary, 220 N. Maple St., Pittsboro.
