Lema M. (Price) Anderson of Hazelwood died Saturday afternoon. She was 93.
Born Sept. 3, 1918, in Pulaski County, Ky., she was a daughter of the late George M. and Susie (Smiley) Price. She married Marshall Anderson on Sept. 4, 1934, and they moved to Hazelwood in November of '36. He died in 2000.
Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and a farm wife. She was a member of the Plainfield Church of Christ and the Hazelwood Community Circle. She enjoyed baking and embroidery.
Survivors include children Wilma Sullivan and husband Kermit, Agnes Abell and husband Tom, and Jerry Anderson and wife Barbara; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
Preceding her in death were brothers Ray, who died in 1981, Ernest, who died in '90, and Ira, who died in '96.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield. Interment will be at Center Valley Cemetery.
Calling at the funeral home is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
