Mary Margaret (Peg) Russell of Brownsburg died Sunday. She was 95.

Born April 17, 1916, in Apollo, Pa., she was a daughter of the late George Washington Eckman and Elzina Shellhammer.

Mrs. Russell attended Bethesda Baptist Church.

She enjoyed reading and writing poetry.

Survivors include daughters Billie (Don) Adkins and Donna Dyer; and a grandson, Mike (Susan) Adkins.

Preceding her in death were her husbands, William Ross Myers and Thomas Russell; sisters Margie Fiscus, Carrie Mellinger, and Lydia Ruth Eckman; and brothers David, Elmer, George Willard, and Ira Arlo Eckman.

Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg. Interment will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Jersey Shore Cemetery in Pennsylvania.

Calling at the mortuary is for two hours prior to the service.
