Beatrice E. Williams of Coatesville died Saturday. She was 85.
Born Aug. 12, 1927, in Indianapolis, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Velma McClure Cooper. She married John E. "Bud" Williams on Dec. 9, 1945, and he died March 31, 2003.
Mrs. Williams worked 14 years as a clerk in the Clayton Post Office.
She was an active member of Coatesville Christian church.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Jones and husband Joe of Coatesville; grandsons Jason Jones and wife Anita, and Justin Jones and wife Jennifer; great-grandchildren Jenna, Jessica, Haley, Josie, and Fisher Jones; and a sister, Marilyn Wolfe of Oregon.
Preceding her in death was a son, John L. Williams; a daughter-in-law, Janet Williams; and a sister, Betty.
Services are noon Friday at Bousley-Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville. Interment will follow at Clayton Cemetery.
Calling at the funeral home is for two hours prior to the service.
