Marjorie I. Moore of Brownsburg died Sunday. She was 92.
Mrs. Moore earned a bachelor degree from Indiana University and a master’s degree from Purdue University. She was a teacher and librarian for 42 years before retiring as librarian for Pike Township Schools in 1980, after 25 years with the corporation.
She was a member of Traders Pointe Christian Church, Hendricks County Extension and Macedonia Homemakers clubs, and was an avid IU basketball fan.
Survivors include a son, Victor Moore; stepchildren Mac Moore, Woodrow Moore, Jo Ann Vineyard, and Sharon Lottchea; nephews Jim (Elaine), Jon (Kim), Paul (Pam), and Phil (Kim) Kenneson; a niece, Carol (Dat) Tran; grandchildren Andrew, Tyler, and Jacob Moore; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Woodrow Moore, and a daughter, Janet Moore.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Matthews Mortuary, 690 E. 56th St., Brownsburg. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery.
