Marguerite Poe of Avon died Tuesday at Avon Healthcare. She was 94.
Born Jan. 28, 1918, in Loveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of Jesse and Susie (Robinson) Poe.
She graduated from Morrow, Ohio, High School and earned a bachelor degree in religion and a bachelor of arts degree in biology from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion.
Ms. Poe served five years as a missionary in India and then worked as a medical laboratory technician for Davis Clinic in Marion until her retirement.
She was a member of the Upland United Methodist Church.
Survivors include nieces and nephews including Dr. Thaddaeus Poe, his wife Donna Lee, and their children, of Danville; and a sister-in-law, R. Lavone Poe of Avon.
Private services will be held at a later date with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Clermont County, Ohio.
Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.
