Joyce A. Wagle Hays of Roachdale died Monday night at her daughter’s home. She was 72 and had formerly resided in Hendricks County.

Born May 2, 2010, in Rockville, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth S. and Retha M. Clines Wagle. She married Dale McFarland, who died in 1998. She later married Lee W. Hays, who died in 2002.

Mrs. Hays had owned and operated a flower shop in Roachdale, the Dari-ette in Bainbridge, and a liquor store in Pittsboro.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Danville.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Les and Karyn McFarland of Bourbon; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Randy Asher of Roachdale; a step-daughter, Lori Tomey of Zionsville; grandchildren Brett, Megan, and Mollie; two step-grandchildren; a brother, Gilbert Wagle of Greencastle; and a sister and brother-in-law, June and Rich Sanders of Tolono, Ill.

Preceding her in death was a brother, Dale Wagle.

Services are 2 p.m. March 11 at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale, with the Rev. Paul Bowen officiating. Interment will be at Boone-Hutchinson Cemetery, near Greencastle.

Calling at the funeral home is for three hours prior to the service.
