Doris M. Traylor Himsel of Danville died Monday. She was 86.

Born July 10, 1926, in Montgomery, she was a daughter of George and Leona (Shull) Traylor. She married Lee Martin Himsel on Sept. 12, 1946, and he died March 18, 2002.

Mrs. Himsel was a homemaker, an active member of the Danville Christian Church, and served more than 25 years as a volunteer for the Hendricks Regional Health Hospital Guild.

Survivors include children David, Sam, and Stephen Himsel, all of Danville, and Jane Reynolds of Raleigh, N.C.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and brothers John and Jerry Traylor, both of Otwell.

Preceding her in death were a brother and a sister.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Danville Christian Church. Interment will be at the K or P Cemetery in Lizton.

Calling is from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Danville Community School FFA program, 100 Warrior Way, Danville, IN 46122.

Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.
