Carlos W. Holmes of Danville died Thursday in Danville. He was 82.
Mr. Holmes had worked as a shop foreman for Baker Metals. Prior to that, he worked for Tuttle Aluminum. He had also worked part-time for Hendricks Regional Health.
Survivors include his children, Edwin Dean, David Leroy, and Durwin Glenn Holmes, Carla Clairetta Mathews, and Jason Allan Holmes; a sister, Mary L. Johnson; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Patricia Hinshaw Holmes, and a daughter, Patricia Louise Holmes.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Conkle Funeral Home in Avon. Interment will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens.
Calling at the funeral home is from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
