Carolyn E. Trout

Carolyn E. Trout of Danville died Nov. 9. She was 68 and had formerly resided in Greencastle.

Born May 2, 1944, in Indianapolis, she was a daughter of the late Millard and Ella (Harrison) Trout.

She graduated from Amo High School in 1962 and worked 31 years as a ward secretary at the Putnam County Hospital.

Survivors include a sister, Kathy Graves and husband Jim of Avon; a brother, Rodney Trout and wife Linda of Coatesville; nieces Sarah Phelps, Becky (Mike) Roach, Nancy (Brad) Collins, and Sharon (Rory) Everling; nephews Jimmy (Barb) Vaughn and Sam Vaughn; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Preceding her in death were a brother, John Trout; a sister, Pat Vaughn; and nephews Steve Vaughn, Mike Trout, and Scott Trout.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home in Greencastle is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Hendricks County in Danville.
