— Maurice Duane Hunt of Brownsburg died Tuesday. He was 71 and had formerly resided in Boonville.
Born Oct. 27, 1940, in Boonville, he was a son of the late Marvis and Opal Hunt.
Mr. Hunt was a U.S. Army veteran of the 1st Infantry. He worked 30 years as a manager for UPS before retiring in 1995.
He was a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church and was a Master Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Hunt; children Loren (Sandra) Hunt, Susan (Darrin) Leiviska, and Sarah (Jeff) Frank; and six grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were brothers Marion Noble Hunt and Max Dale Hunt and a sister, Sarah Jane Hunt.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg.
Calling at the church is from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
