— Georgietta M. (Snell) Lucas of Avon died Tuesday. She was 92.
Mrs. Lucas was a noted artist and retired educator. Her memberships included the Hendricks County Ramblers, Bridgeport Order of the Eastern Star 513, Pen Women , Indiana Artist Council, and the Church By the Side of the Road.
Survivors include two daughters, Carleen Underwood and Joetta Allgood; a son, Thomas (Sandy) Lucas; six grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
Her husband, Joseph W. Lucas, preceded her in death.
Services are 1 p.m. Nov. 17 in Conkle Funeral Home, Avon, where friends may call for two hours prior to services. Entombment will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
