Ben Davis grad named ‘top airman’

U.S. Air Force Airman Daniel J. Taylor graduated with honors from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

He completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Taylor also received the Top Airman of his flight.

He is the son of Kelly and Jeff Taylor of Plainfield. He is a 2008 graduate of Ben Davis High School.
