Au’bree Rose Land-Heier celebrated her first birthday with friends and family.
Au’bree was born April 17, 2011, at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville. She is the daughter of Ashley Land and Travis Heier, and the granddaughter of April and Charlie Land of Coatesville and Tammy and Jesse Heier of Avon.

Ethel Price, formerly of Thorntown, will celebrate her 100th birthday with family and friends at an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Thorntown Public Library, 124 N. Market St.
