— Thomas (Tom) Cummings of Plainfield celebrated his 90th birthday June 8.
He served in World War II (473rd Infantry Regiment) from 1942-45. He is a husband of 61 years and is the father of Larry Cummings of Bluff Dale, Texas; Mark Cummings of Mooresville; Eric Cummings of New Palestine; and Lou Etta Lakins of Quincy. He has nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cummings retired from Hebrew Meat Packers in 1993 and prior to that worked at Diamond Chain in Indianapolis.
He is a skilled woodworker, enjoys working in the yard, gardening, and watching the Pacers and Colts. He will celebrate with his family.
