INDIANAPOLIS — Homicide Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department have reportedly arrested and preliminarily charged Richard Drollinger Jr. in the death of his nephew Derich Tanner which occurred on Feb. 5.
Tanner, 20, was found suffering from a gunshot wound when officers arrived at a residence on the 1600 block of Livingston Ave. and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
After investigation into the murder, Drollinger was taken to IMPD headquarters and questioned, where he provided them a statement. He was transported to the Arrestee Processing Center where he will await an intial hearing.
