Tri-West presents 'You Can't Take It with You'

LIZTON — The Pulitzer Prize winning play "You Can't Take It with You" is being presented 7 p.m. March 14-16 and 2 p.m. March 17 at Tri-West High School Thursday. Tickets are available at the door for $7 for high school students and adults, $5 for children ages 3 to 13, and free admission for those younger than 3.

Is it madness? Or is it exuberance for living? Everyone living under the roof of Grandpa Martin Vanderhof has a zest for living. Each has his or her interests and talents, including writing plays, tending snakes, making fireworks, as well as many other unique hobbies. Each household member is perfectly content at pursuing these interests as a way of life.

All is well, however, until young Tony Kirby captures the heart of Alice Sycamore, Vanderhof's granddaughter. The two families are polar opposites, and when the Kirby's come to dinner a night early, the different worlds collide and chaos breaks loose.

Cast members include: Jesse Cork (Grandpa), McKinsey Miller (Alice), Ross Cooper (Tony), and Matt Buckner (Mr. Kirby). Additional cast members include: Rachel Hatton, Stephen Harris, Kate Henley, Luke Hatton, Tara Wolf, Brandon Bischof, Delaney Brown, Luke Bridwell, Nathan Hession, Morgan Springer, Dani Payne, Alex Stokes, Robbie Brandkamp, Quinton Thompson, Nate McRoberts, and Matt Gallagher.
