— The Hendricks County Humane Society will host its eighth annual wine tasting fundraiser from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at Prestwick Country Club in Avon.
Tickets are $25 per person and may be purchased at United Package Liquors in Plainfield and Camby, the Toddy Shoppes in Brownsburg, or from HCHS board members.
There will be 60 wines and Scotches to sample, live music, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction. Patrons may pre-order wine at discounted prices.
Proceeds will benefit the Hendricks County Humane Society as the group moves toward its goal of preparing their building for an adoption center.
