The Hendricks County Soil and Water Conservation District’s 58th annual meeting will be 6:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds Conference Center in Danville. The meeting will begin with a dinner served by Sandi Moore Catering.
Samuel and Rebekah Lawson will provide a program of musical entertainment for the evening.
The purpose of the meeting is to report the activities of the district over the past year to the citizens of Hendricks County. Also during the meeting, conservation award winners will be honored. In addition, one member of the board of supervisors will be elected to direct the district’s work for the next three years.
Tickets for the meeting are $3. They may be obtained by stopping in at the district office at 195 Meadow Drive, Danville, or by calling for reservations at 745-2555.
Tickets are also being sold by the district supervisors including Jim Louighmiller, Jeff Healy, Mike Starkey, Jack Nelson, and Brian Rutledge.
