Officials with the Hendricks County Convention and Visitors Bureau (HCCVB) recently announced the winners of their coloring contest conducted during Danville’s third annual Christmas on the Square event.
Each winner received a $25 gift certificate to Monical’s Pizza in Avon, along with a $25 gift card to the new Monster Mini Golf, also in Avon.
During the event, children were invited to color one of three pictures to submit in the contest. They had to complete it during the event and all entries were displayed in the HCCVB office windows.
A winner was selected in each of the three categories — ages 5 and younger, ages 6 to 10, and ages 11 and older.
Winners were Alex Woodard of Danville in the 5 and younger category, Parker Woolard of Indianapolis in the ages 6 to 10 category, and Alyssa Berling of Clayton in the age 11 and older category.
The HCCVB attracts visitors to the county by promoting and developing tourism. For more information on the agency, visit the website at www.TourHendricksCounty.com or call 718-8750.
