“Fire from Below,” a movie featuring two Brownsburg actors, premieres 9 p.m. Sunday on the SyFy Channel.
In 2007 Steve “Papaw” Pyatte and Dustin Helton participated in a 10-day shoot at French Lick for the film. It stars Kevin Sorbo, best known for his roles in the TV shows “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys” and “Andromeda.”
“Fire from Below” is about an imprudent industrialist who discovers a supply of pure lithium while digging in a cave. Chaos ensues when the lithium is brought to the surface and comes in contact with water.
Sorbo plays a good-guy seismologist. Pyatte is one of the miners. Helton plays a major who specializes in demolition. His role includes scenes with Sorbo.
