Tri-Pointe Optimists hosting fish fry

The Tri-Pointe Optimist Club is hosting its annual Jonah Fish Fry from 4:30 to 8 p.m. April 18 at the North Salem Community Building, 1 block south of State Road 236 on S.R. 75.

The meal will consist of all-you-can-eat fish, side dishes of baked beans, slaw, and applesauce, dessert, and drink. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.

The Optimist Club is an international service club for youth and community projects. Funds raised by the club are used in the local schools and community for scholarships, children’s holiday parties, Easter egg hunts, fishing derby, oratorical and essay contests, and school needs.
