Crossroads to hold silent auction

Crossroads Church of Avon will be holding a silent auction luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 18.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children younger than age 12.

Proceeds will benefit local charities Sheltering Wings, Life Centers, Light and Life Food Pantry, and Habitat for Humanity, as well as go toward purchasing an assistive listening system for the hearing impaired who attend the church.

Silent auction item donations are needed.

Crossroads Church is at 7209 E. 100 S., Avon, south of Rockville Road and just east of State Road 267. Service times are 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Sundays, with youth group at 6 p.m. Sundays.
