Rosenbaum-Bost engagement

Alyssa Klaire Rosenbaum and Paul Alexander Bost, both of Santa Monica, Calif., met at a Thanksgiving dinner in New York in 2009 and are now planning a Dec. 17 wedding in Indianapolis.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ed and Ronda Rosenbaum of Avon. She graduated from Avon High School in 2001 and earned a degree in psychology from Pepperdine University in 2005 and a masters in education from City College of New York. She works as a teacher for Sinai Akiba Academy in Los Angeles, Calif.

The prospective groom is the son of Thomas and Sheila Bost of Santa Monica. He graduated from Harvard Westlake School in 1998, Pepperdine University in 2002 with a degree in humanities, and Vanderbilt University in ‘08 with a doctorate of jurisprudence. He is an associate with Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, in Los Angeles.
