Don and Annette Workman of Avon have announced the engagement of their daughter Nikki to Tony Goodpaster. He is the son of Rusty and Debra Goodpaster of Avon.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Avon High School and a ‘10 graduate of Western Kentucky University. She is a second-grade teacher with the Brownsburg Community School Corporation.

The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Avon High School and a ‘10 graduate of Marian University. He is a deputy with the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department.

The couple is planning a June wedding in Indianapolis.
