Melissa Rene Miller of Brazil and Ryan Matthew Simmons of Plainfield are planning an Oct. 20 wedding in Indianapolis.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bob and Marty Miller of Brazil. She graduated from Northview High School in 2005, Indiana University in ‘09, and IUPUI in 2011. She works for Assist Management in Greenwood.

The prospective groom is the son of Roy and Cindy Simmons of Plainfield. He graduated from Avon High School in 2004 and Indiana University in ‘09. He works for School Town of Speedway.
