ZIONSVILLE — Wednesday’s debate was the first of five sponsored by the Indiana Debate Commission for the governor’s race and the U.S. Senate race.

The other commission-sponsored debates include:

First U.S. Senate debate — 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at WFYI-TV in Indianapolis (in studio/no live audience).

Second Gubernatorial Debate — 7 p.m. Oct. 17 at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center in South Bend (live audience, seating for up to 840).

Second U.S. Senate — 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Paul W. Ogle Cultural & Community Center at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany (live audience, seating up to 500).

Third Gubernatorial Debate — 7 p.m. Oct. 25 at WFWA-TV PBS 39 in Fort Wayne (in studio/no live audience).
