  • Hoosier voters make voices heard on election day

    Indiana voters flocked to the polls with determination on Tuesday to have their say in the state’s and country’s political future. With the economy still up in the air and many hot ticket issues like property tax caps and school referendums on the ballots, voters crossed their fingers and cast their ballots.

  • Washington Township looks toward new vision

    It’s been a busy year for Republican Don Hodson. Since announcing Nov. 4, 2009, that he would run for Washington Township trustee, he’s been working on his campaign.

    That paid off Tuesday, as he took more than 80 percent of the vote.

  • Town council works to finish projects it began

    For Mike Rogers, winning a seat on the Avon Town Council is something that he has grown accustomed to.

    Rogers, who will be the senior member on the board, has served 12 years in that capacity. He can now add four more to his resume, as he defeated Democrat Kashif Khan in Tuesday’s election.
