Looking down on the golf course behind my home, it struck me that the cart paths would be nice for biking on and perhaps bike racing.
Then I wondered why high schools don't have bike racing teams.
With the students furnishing their own bikes, it would be a low cost sport and also allow an additional number to be involved in sports. I suggest that the teams be unlimited in size but in determining the winning team, only the five fastest times be considered.
To eliminate congestion, start the racers at five second intervals and time each contestant. Have separate races for different kinds of bikes.
I dare say some golf courses which are "under used" might welcome a boost to their revenue. I'd pay to watch.
I hate dog movies. In dog movies, the good, loyal, lovable dog always dies at the end and I end up sitting there in the dark with big tears streaming down my cheeks.
