Gerald and Maryellen (Gray) Strauss of Avon celebrated their 50th anniversary Nov. 6. They were married in Indianapolis in 1959.
Mr. Strauss is retired from Western Electric, where he worked for 31 years. Mrs. Strauss is retired from Avon Products.
Their children are Thomas (Sherry) Strauss of Westfield and Anita Jo (Brent) Maxwell of Avon. Their grandchildren are Thomas Jr. and Rebecca Strauss, Amber Wolf, and Melissa Maxwell.
The couple celebrated by going out to dinner with their children.
