Jesse and Jean (Myers) Wingler will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Coatesville Public Library. They were married Nov. 11, 1949, in Advance.
Mr. Wingler retired as owner of Wingler Funeral Home and Furniture Store in Coatesville in December of 1989 and Mrs. Wingler retired from National City Bank in 1992.
Their children are Diana (Wendell) Owens, Steve (Becky) Wingler, Donald Wingler, Glenda (Larry) Edwards, and David (Melinda) Wingler. They also have 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
