Richard E. and Ruby F. (Goodin) Sanford of Brownsburg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 30. They were married at the West Michigan Street Methodist Church in Indianapolis in 1959.
Mrs. Sanford is a homemaker, was secretary to “The Biblical Evangelist,” and was a Bethesda Baptist children’s church leader for 30 years. She has also been a Moody Bible Institute Ladies Bible Study leader for 30 years and is a member of College Park Church in Indianapolis.
Mr. Sanford retired as director of vehicle maintenance for Anderson Motor Trucking Company and as director of maintenance for SCA Trucking Company. He works with GSN as a consultant for the state of Connecticut. He is a member of the TCA and is actively involved with the Great American Train Shows. He’s also a member of the Wednesday Morning Sign Club, and College Park Church in Indianapolis.
Their children are Lori Kay (James R.) Nossett of Brownsburg; and Shannon Marie (Richard W.) Collins of Brownsburg. Their grandchildren are Michael Nossett, Ashley Nossett, and Wyatt Collins.
