Laura Elizabeth Snapp and Benjamin Joseph Ramsden of Bloomington were married Aug. 8 in an oceanside ceremony at Breezes Resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica.

A wedding reception was held Aug. 20 in the Featherston Barn at Conner Prairie in Fishers.

The bride is the daughter of Clarissa Snapp of Indianapolis and Jeffery C. and Debbie Snapp of Plainfield. She is the granddaughter of the late James C. Snapp I, Elizabeth Rose Snapp, Ralph Sumners, and Sophia Sumners, all of Avon. She graduated from Mooresville High School in 1994 and attended Indiana University and IUPUI. She has worked at the IU Credit Union in Bloomington since 1998.

The groom is the son of Charles and Linda Ramsden of Bloomfield. He graduated from Eastern High School in Bloomfield in 1995. He works as an account executive for Comcast.

The couple is residing in Bloomington.
