Montana Rose Wichman and Jared Denver Hix of Clayton were married Dec. 22, 2012, in Plainfield, with Father Glenn O’Connor of Saint Susanna Catholic Church officiating.
The bride is the daughter of George and Jenni Wichman. She graduated from Cascade High School in 2009 and earned her RN-BSN from Indiana University School of Nursing in Indianapolis on Dec. 15, 2012. She’s scheduled to take her Nursing boards on Feb. 7 and now works as a patient care intern for IU Health West Hospital in Avon.
The groom is the son of Denver and Tami Hix. He graduated from Cascade High School in 2010 and the IU Health Surgical Technician Program in ‘11. He works as a surgical technician for Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis.
Serving as bridal attendants were Chelsea Wichman, Brittany Titus, Ashley James, and Amanda Tyler. Maddie Tyler was the flower girl.
Jeremiah Hix served as best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Josh Brawner and Tyler James, brothers-in-law of the groom, and Drew Duncan. James Tyler served as ring bearer.
Following a honeymoon in Oahu, Hawaii, Mr. and Mrs. Hix are residing in Clayton.
