Phillips anniversary

Roger and Nancy (Plattner) Phillips of Avon will soon mark their 40th wedding anniversary.

The couple will celebrate with a trip to Hawaii.

Mr. and Mrs. Phillips were married June 3, 1972 in Pittsfield, Ill.

Mr. Phillips is a retired chiropractor. He worked for 29 years at Danville Chiropractic. He currently drives a bus for the Avon Community School Corporation.

Mrs. Phillips is a retired registered nurse. She worked at Hendricks Regional Health for 24 years. She is a member of Kingsway Christian Church.

They are the parents of Kyle and Stephanie Scotten and Matt and Serenity Row, all of Avon. They have five grandchildren: Samantha, Alyssa, Holly, Brady, and Jacob.
