PLAINFIELD — The demolition of the former 1st Stop Furniture Shop, 2382 E. Main St., Plainfield, began this week. For many years, the building housed the original Galyan’s Trading Post. Once the building site is cleared, it will be prepared for construction of a new Aldi store.
