Dennis W. Dawes, president and CEO of Hendricks Regional Health, has announced that he will retire this year.
Dawes has worked for the hospital for 40 years, serving the last 38 as president and CEO.
The hospital’s board of trustees will be appointing an interim president/CEO and begin a search for Dawes’ permanent successor.

Body of missing PHS alum found
The body of former Plainfield resident Nick Bower was located just before noon Tuesday morning in Talladega County.
