Police are seeking a suspect who robbed a bank Friday in Belleville.
The unknown suspect entered the First National Bank at 1627 E. U.S. 40 about 1:45 p.m. April 6. Police say he brandished a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded the teller give him money. Officials say he left with $2,160.
The suspect is described as a white male, age unknown, who's about 5'10" to 6' tall and weighing between 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt turned inside out, blue jeans, and brown shoes.
Police say he left in a small black four-door car, possibly a Chevy Cobalt. Anyone with information may call Det. Lt. Chuck Morefield of the Hendricks County Sheriff's Department at 745-4052.
